¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾ is a New York based organization of international education professionals dedicated to assisting international students in continuing their education at accredited institutions in secondary, English language, pathway, bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree programs of study.
No, ¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾ is based in the United States with its home office located in New York. Unlike many international agencies, ¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾ was founded on the principle that many US universities are not comfortable working with an agency based and staffed in another country. ¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾ works exclusively with universities and takes care of all the communication between students, overseas agencies, and the university.
The mission of ¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾ is to aid students from around the world in continuing their formal education in the United States and abroad. ¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾ offers students assistance with admission to secondary schools, short-term Study Abroad, English language, pathway, bachelor's, master's and doctoral level university degree programs. ¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾ is able to provide these services through relationships directly with the students, recognized agencies representing them, and a network of accredited secondary and university partners located across the world.
¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾ partner schools represent a diverse group of institutions, who are all fully accredited, have strong academic programs, and who are very supportive of international students. Many ¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾ universities are working exclusively with us, or desire to work with very few foreign-based international agencies. All offer a wide variety of academic programs; many also offer on-campus ESL programs and pathways for potential conditionally admitted students.
¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾ staff have membership in national and regional organizations including NAFSA, NACAC, and AACROA. Most of ¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾'s affiliate universities and network companies are NAFSA members and strictly adhere to NAFSA's Statement of Ethical Practices.
¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾ identifies international students in many ways including: - Recommendations from previous students and families - Secured lists of academically strong international students - Network partners, screened and approved in various countries around the world - Participation at international student fairs.
The network of ¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾ partners is extensive and constantly changing. For the most part, the international agency partners have had a working relationship with ¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾ staff for the past 10-15 years and have proven to be professional and responsive to student needs. The network of partners includes those based in Sweden, Korea, India, China, Norway, Turkey, Japan, Saudi Arabia, The Cameroon, and other countries in Europe, the Caribbean, South America, Africa, and over 60 additional countries.
¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾ works under a written agreement with each partner school. Time is spent with each partner to clearly determine the qualifications desired for international students including academic preparation, level of English language proficiency desired, funding issues, and available academic programs of study. Once finalized, ¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾ provides completed applications for the institution to review. Significant time and expense is realized utilizing the services of ¾Ã²ÝÃâ·Ñ¸£ÀûÕ¾.
